Abbie Hirst cut her acting teeth as a young teenager with the Scottish Youth Theatre in her native Glasgow, playing Madeleine in Charles Dickens' Nicholas Nickleby.  She followed this with a summer season in London with the National Youth Theatre, before taking a break from acting to obtain a double Masters Degree in Business and Spanish from the University of St Andrews. Abbie speaks Spanish, French and English.

After time spent living and working in Northern Spain, Mexico, Western Samoa and London, Abbie finally had the funds behind her to study the Two Year Actor Training course at The Poor School in London's Kings Cross.  Since graduating, Abbie has worked in Theatre, Television, Film and Voice Over.
